We keep getting asked for new pictures of the kittens so I've set some up in my yahoo photos. Go here to see them:

We're adopting twins!
That's right! We have decided to adopt two Tonkinese kittens. They are absolutely gorgeous little kitties!! We are very excited and should be bringing them home sometime in mid-August. We've decided to name them Stormie (the girl) and Aubie (the boy). Aubie is after the Auburn Football mascot of course! Click on the picture below to see some pictures of Aubie and Stormie.

Pictures of our new yard!
I took some pictures last night of some of the things growing/living in our yard. We will be spending a lot of time in our yard in the week's to come. The plants/flowers are growing out of control and most everything needs to be trimmed.

We found the frogs on top of one of our shutters. I had to hold the camera up and try to get them in the pic. The lizard was on the screen of our screened in porch. Misty tries to chase them, but they are way too fast for her.
Also, the site includes a picture of our Dining Room (before we moved in/after we moved in). Our house is a maze of boxes!

Official Florida Residents!
Well, we are now official residents of "rainy" Florida!! It has rained every day that we have been here so far. lol!
Our move from Raleigh was a little interesting - Our move from Raleigh went okay. We didn't leave Raleigh until Tuesday evening at 10pm (our house closing was the next day so we had to drive all night). One of our movers got into a fight with the driver of our moving truck over how much he thought he should be paid and he took off without finishing the job. So, it took some extra hours to get the work done. The mover that ended up staying called his family and his father and some other family members helped load the rest of the truck. Thank you Lord for his family and that they were willing to help us out!!
Our closing went well. Nothing out of the ordinary. The move into our new house went well too, but the prior homeowners left the house without cleaning ANYTHING. I was pretty sad about that. We have a lot of work to do still to get the place cleaned up.
Kevan's mom visited us this weekend. She was a great help!! We got a lot done while she was here and I'm thankful that she was able to come and help out! Thank you Judy!! Next time I promise we can relax at the beach or spend some time in the sun!
I will be putting some pictures out soon. We have a huge cactus in our backyard and I'll post a picture of it sometime this week. Thank you all for your prayers. We love you guys!

Praise the Lord!
We found a home! It is a 3 bedroom, 2 bath, 1932 square foot home in Casselberry, FL. It is about 11 minutes from the Seminary and 20 minutes from Kevan's job. :o) It has a BEAUTIFUL screened porch on the back with a landscaped yard. The master bedroom is huge and has his/her walk-in closets. :o) The owner had a lot of pride in her home so it has been fixed up really nice. The window sills in the dining room and kitchen were very large and she had plants on them. It was so pretty. The garage has extra storage already built in and it was a larger garage which Kevan loved. So, our closing date is June 1st. We have so much to do!!
I do not have any pictures yet, but should have some by the end of the week. Thank you for praying for us. God has really blessed us with a beautiful home close to the seminary.

House Hunting
Well, house hunting was pretty disappointing. The houses here cost so much $$ and it was sad to see how much you got for your money. The first two houses that we looked at were way too small and didn't seem in very good shape. Although, Kevan liked one of them because it had a screened in pool/spa. Which was really nice, but the house was way too small and we would constantly feel cramped.
I fell in love with the 3rd house that we looked at, but Kevan did not like it as much. It hit the market TODAY and was about $20,000 less in price than any of the other homes we looked at. The backyard is shared with about 4 or 5 other neighbors and the location is not that great. Kevan will have about a 40 minute drive to work in the mornings, but the seminary is only 8 miles from the house. We are probably going to put a bid on it only because we did not have very many other options. I love the house, but hate that Kevan will have such a long commute to work.
The other 3 or 4 houses were pretty old homes, dirty and not very nice. Tomorrow we will be looking at a few more, but they are all pretty expensive. One is promising and is in a good location so maybe we will turn out to like that one.

We made it!
Well, we made it to Lake Mary, FL late last night. I listened to a book on tape (Joni Erickson-Tada) while Kevan read his Seminary books for class and the time flew by! Before we knew it we were here. I normally cannot drive at night because I get so tired, but the Lord was with us. We both felt Him helping us along last night.
We are both excited and we will be meeting with the realtor later today! Pray that we find a house and that we have peace that it is the one the Lord intends for us to buy. Thank you all for your prayers.

Heading to Florida Again!
Hi Everyone,
Kevan and I will be going to Florida this week and would like to ask for everyone to pray for us. We will be driving down on Thursday evening. Friday we will be meeting with a realtor to try to find a place to live. The houses are pretty expensive and when they go up for sale they are usually under contract within 48 hours. So, we are hoping that the Lord places the house for us in the market when we step foot in Florida. I am pretty stressed out about finding a place and have to constantly remind myself that God is Sovereign and he knows exactly what we need. If He is calling us to Florida, He will provide a place for us.
We will update you all when we find something and post some pictures too!
See, Misty is already packed and ready to go!

Week in Florida
As many of you know Kevan has felt the Lord calling him to seminary. Kevan and I went to Orlando, FL for the week of March 5th to attend the Ligonier's Ministry Conference and to check out the RTS Campus in Oviedo, FL. While we were there Kevan also interviewed for a new job in Lake Mary, FL.
RTS Campus (http://www.rts.edu) - We loved the campus and the people were very nice. The seminary seemed to be focused on building relationships and also encouraged relationships with your professors which Kevan and I both really liked. Everyone was very nice and we even sat in on one of the seminary classes and attended chapel.
Conference (http://www.fivekeys.info) - The conference was great! It was my first time hearing R.C. Sproul in person and it was way better than I had imaged. We had several other speakers and one of my favorite speakers was Mark Dever (http://www.9marks.com). We were very encouraged after the conference and I cannot wait to attend next year.
Interview - The interview went well and Kevan has heard from them and they are very interested in Kevan starting soon.
Here is a picture of the Seminary that Kevan will be attending in Oviedo, FL.
